CPVC Materials: Rigid CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) used in the extrusion of Schedule 80 C
pipe is of Type IV, Grade 1 compound as stated in ASTM D-1784.
Dimensions: Physical dimensions and tolerances of CPVC Schedule 80 pipe meet the requirements
of ASTM standard specification F-441.
Marking: CPVC Schedule 80 pipe is marked as prescribed in ASTM F-441 to indicate the manu-
facturer’s name or trademark, material designation code, the pipe size, the schedule size with the
pressure rating in PSI for water at 73 degrees F, the ASTM designation number F-441 and the NSF
seal for potable water.
