Used to provide protection against the

destruction caused by galvanic and

B stray current corrosiion. Galvanic
corrosion involves accelerated effects
due to coupling together two metals of

different galvanic potential. Stray cur-

C rent corrosion occurs in the presence
of DC currents where it advertently

enters an alternate (but unintended)

path. An effective means for prevent-

D ing piping system deterioration from accelerated corrosion due
to galvanic and stray current is installation of dielectric fittings/

unions. Rated at 250 psi at 180 degrees farenheit. Typical ap-

E plications are hot water storage tanks, water and air conditioners,
processing tanks, steam, gas and water piping.
